Kelly D. Taylor

Office Manager

Kelly has been with the firm since its inception more than 20 years ago. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Social Work from McMurry College and, in addition to raising Mark and Kelly’s children, has taught in private school and at university for 25 years. She enjoys assisting the firm in its continuing effort to serve its clients in an innovative, efficient manner. Kelly is also responsible for making our firm offices welcoming for clients. Outside of work, Kelly enjoys spending time with family and “junking” with her “peeps" and has a passion for health and nutrition.

Shelby Raines

 Business Manager & Lead Paralegal

Shelby has been with the firm since 2008 and full time since 2012. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the King’s College in New York City. Shelby enjoys the fast pace of the law firm and loves to make order out of chaos. In her free time, Shelby can be found spending time with her husband, children and animals, hiking, camping, or engaging in an outdoor adventure.

Brittney Branscom

Legal Secretary

Brittney has been with the law firm since 2015. Originally from Roswell, she returned after attending Central New Mexico Community College and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She considers herself blessed to work in a law firm that handles a diverse range of matters, allowing her to interact with and serve our community. Outside of work, Brittney enjoys spending time with her family, curling up with a good book, and traveling to explore the Southwest.

Heather Jones


Heather has been with the law firm since 2019. Prior to that time, Heather worked alongside her husband in their farm, ranch and dairy appraisal business where they served the community for eighteen (18) years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from New Mexico State University. Heather enjoys working with the team as they serve their clients and the community.  In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and four (4) amazing children. Whenever she is not with her husband and kids, she probably can be found reading a new, great book.

Sonyia Ford


Sonyia is the newest addition to our team. She has worked as a bookkeeper in the Roswell community for more than twenty-four (24) years. Sonyia earned her business administration degree from Eastern New Mexico University - Roswell, with an emphasis in accounting and accomplished this while raising four (4) beautiful children. Sonyia loves serving her community alongside the MWTA team and looks forward to serving the needs of our clients.
